Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using Connecty, you agree to:
- Be bound by these Terms of Service
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Accept our Privacy Policy
- Be at least 16 years of age or have parental consent
- Provide accurate and complete information
If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use our services.
User Accounts and Organizations
Account Registration
To use certain features of Connecty, you must create an account. You agree to:

Organization Accounts
Connecty supports multi-tenant organization accounts. When you create or join an organization:
- You represent that you have authority to bind the organization
- Organization administrators can manage members and permissions

- You must comply with your organization's policies
- The organization is responsible for actions of its members
Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms of Service
- Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
- Harm other users or our platform
- Remain inactive for an extended period
- Fail to pay outstanding fees
Event Management Services
Event Organizers
As an event organizer, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete event information
- Honor all ticket sales and registrations
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Obtain necessary permits, licenses, and insurance
- Not discriminate against attendees on prohibited grounds
- Handle attendee data in compliance with privacy laws
- Provide refunds in accordance with your stated policy
- Maintain professional conduct and communication
- Be solely responsible for the actual delivery of your event
Event Attendees
As an event attendee, you agree to:
- Provide accurate registration information
- Comply with event rules and organizer policies
- Review refund and cancellation policies before purchasing
- Understand that Connecty is a platform, not the event provider
- Contact event organizers directly for event-specific issues
- Respect venue rules and other attendees
Prohibited Events
You may not create or promote events that:
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Promote violence, hatred, or discrimination
- Involve illegal activities or substances
- Infringe intellectual property rights
- Are fraudulent or deceptive
- Violate third-party rights
- Pose safety or security risks
Venue Booking Services
Venue Providers
If you list a venue on Connecty, you agree to:
- Have legal authority to offer the venue for booking
- Provide accurate venue descriptions, photos, and specifications
- Honor confirmed bookings and maintain availability accuracy
- Maintain the venue in safe, legal, and suitable condition
- Comply with accessibility requirements and safety regulations
- Obtain necessary insurance and permits
- Handle cancellations according to your stated policy
- Respond promptly to booking inquiries and issues
Venue Booking Users
When booking a venue, you agree to:
- Use the venue only for the stated purpose
- Comply with venue rules and policies
- Pay all fees and charges as agreed
- Maintain insurance as required
- Leave the venue in acceptable condition
- Report damages or issues promptly
Payments and Financial Terms
Platform Fees
Connecty charges fees for its services, which may include:
- Service fees on ticket sales (percentage or fixed amount)
- Payment processing fees
- Venue booking commissions
- Premium feature subscriptions
- Additional services as selected
All fees are clearly disclosed before you complete a transaction. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or stated in our refund policy.
Payment Processing
- Payments are processed through third-party payment processors
- You must provide valid payment information
- You authorize us to charge your payment method
- Payment processors may charge additional fees
- Currency conversions may apply for international transactions

Organizer Payouts
For event organizers and venue providers receiving payments:

- We may withhold funds for chargebacks or disputes
- You are responsible for applicable taxes on your income
- Payout holds may apply for new accounts or suspicious activity
Refunds and Cancellations
- Refund policies are set by event organizers and venue providers
- Connecty platform fees are generally non-refundable
- Chargebacks may result in account suspension
- We may issue refunds for cancelled events or in cases of fraud
- Processing times for refunds vary by payment method
Taxes
- You are responsible for determining and paying applicable taxes
- Organizers must collect required sales taxes on ticket sales
- We may collect and remit taxes as required by law
- Tax rates and requirements vary by jurisdiction
- Consult tax professionals for specific guidance
Intellectual Property
Platform Content
Connecty and its content, features, and functionality are owned by Connecty and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:
- Copy, modify, or create derivative works of our platform
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
- Remove copyright or proprietary notices
- Use our trademarks without permission
- Frame or mirror our content
User Content
You retain ownership of content you post on Connecty (event descriptions, photos, etc.), but grant us a license to:
- Display, reproduce, and distribute your content
- Create derivative works for platform operations
- Use your content for marketing (with your consent)
- Sublicense these rights to service providers
You represent and warrant that you own or have rights to all content you post and that it does not violate any third-party rights.
Copyright Infringement
We respect intellectual property rights. To report copyright infringement, contact us at copyright@connecty.com with:
- Description of the copyrighted work
- Location of infringing material
- Your contact information
- Statement of good faith belief
- Statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury
- Physical or electronic signature
Disclaimers and Limitations
Platform Role
Important: Connecty is a platform that connects event organizers, venue providers, and attendees. We are not responsible for:
- The actual events, their quality, or whether they occur
- Venue conditions, availability, or suitability
- Actions or conduct of users
- Disputes between users
- Accuracy of user-provided information
Warranty Disclaimer
CONNECTY IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement of third-party rights
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content
- Security of data transmission
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CONNECTY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
- Events that are cancelled, postponed, or misrepresented
- Venue issues or unavailability
- Actions of other users
- Unauthorized access to your account or data
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees you paid to Connecty in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Connecty, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the platform
- Your violation of these terms
- Your events, venue listings, or services
- Your violation of any laws or third-party rights
- Content you post or transmit
- Your interactions with other users
Dispute Resolution
Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to conflict of law principles.
Arbitration

Severability

Entire Agreement
These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Connecty regarding use of the platform.
Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these terms. We may assign our rights and obligations to any party without restriction.
No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
