Connecty is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to ensure our event management platform is accessible to all users.

Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.
Connecty is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
"Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to achieve full conformance.

Event Organizer Accessibility Tools
We provide tools to help event organizers create accessible events:
- Accessibility information fields for event listings (wheelchair access, ASL interpreters, etc.)
- Ability to specify venue accessibility features
- Options to indicate dietary accommodations
- Fields for sensory-friendly event details
- Reminder prompts to add alt text to event images
- Guidelines for creating accessible event content
- Tools to ensure ticket purchasing is accessible
Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, there may be some limitations to the accessibility of certain features:
- Third-Party Content: Some event organizer content may not meet accessibility standards. We encourage organizers to create accessible content and provide tools to help.
- PDF Documents: Some downloadable documents may not be fully accessible. We're working with organizers to provide accessible alternatives.
- Legacy Features: Some older features are being updated to meet current accessibility standards.
- Third-Party Integrations: External services (payment processors, social media embeds) may have their own accessibility limitations.
- Complex Visualizations: Some data visualizations in analytics dashboards may not be fully accessible. We provide data tables as alternatives.
We are actively working to address these limitations and improve accessibility across all features.
